NZ's Victoria U alumni gathering tomorrow

KUCHING: Victoria University of Wellington Alumni Association will be holding their alumni gathering here tomorrow.

It starts at 6pm.

Professor Neil Quigley, the university's Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) will be the guest-of-honour.

The association said besides the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and learn from each other, the alumni would have the chance to renew old friendships and make new acquaintances and reminisce on their days back in the university.

Many of the prominent alumni of New Zealand are from Sarawak including Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Alfred Jabu, Social Development and Urbanisation Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. James Masing and Chairman of Sarawak State Library, Tan Sri Hamid Bugo.

Amongst the prominent alumni of Victoria University are Datuk Haji Tulip Zulpilip, Datuk Haji Mohamad Amin Satem and Haji Zaidi Zinnia.
